The Prediction^® 2230 / 1420 family of proofing systems bring printing, label/packaging and design professionals digital halftone proofs that use real ink pigments to image the same halftone dots that are used to plate and print on a very wide variety of substrates, including those substrates on which the job is printed. Proofs are consistent from proof to proof day to day and are easy to match on press. All Prediction^® Proofing Systems use sheets instead of rolls. Sheets can be reused as long as there is non-imaged area on the ink sheet. This reduces materials costs for proofing.

Twenty eight different color ink sheets and Dalmatian^® Spot Color Proofing Software enable a close match to press color hues and densities for both spot and process colors.

The Prediction^® 1420 System adds the capability of proofing on lenticular materials for 3D, motion and flip images.
